For 26 years (!) JHKC has provided progression-based kayaking opportunities to area youth through summer programming, competitive events, and conservation education. We partner with local organizations including Coombs Outdoors and the Snake River Fund to provide accessible and impactful river experiences to over 100 participants annually. Old Bill’s is central to our scholarship, coach education, and equipment budgets.

 
 

2022 contributions will fund the following:

  • Unique program opportunities with other local non-profit partnerships

  • Full-ride summer scholarship opportunities

  • Competitive pay and continued training for coaches

  • Updated safety gear for participants and coaches

2021 donations were crucial to funding the following:

  • Coombs Outdoors’ specific roll clinic and three week session

  • 21 scholarships to summer participants

  • SafeSport, Swiftwater Rescue, and ACA training for coaches

  • Partnerships with Hole Food Rescue and One22

  • Purchase of a new trailer
